My Students
I teach in a Title I school in Georgia. My students are in 7th grade and learning about life science. We are learning about ecosystems, the animal kingdom, ecology and much more! We recently added Chief, a holland lop rabbit, to our classroom.
We are ages 12 and 13 and enjoy science, labs, classroom pets, and anything and everything hands on!
We are eager to learn, creative, and very curious. We love working in our garden at the school and interacting with Chief!
My Project
Chief has brought a lot of excitement and motivation to our classroom! Students are excited and eager to come to class. Additionally, students are motivated to stay on track and work hard in class because they are rewarded with play time with Chief. Chief helps keep our classroom engaging, exciting, and brings lots of joy to my student's lives. We would really love for Chief to get a larger cage so that he has room to roam around and stretch out his legs when he cannot be outside of his cage. My students will benefit from knowing he has the right size environment to suit his needs!
