Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Looking for a spot on a new rug to call their own! My students are looking to enjoy classroom instruction sitting on their own new, clean rug spot. My students also need printer ink so classroom activities and projects can be easily printed out right then and there.
My students in Kindergarten and are part of a charter school in Long Island City, New York that focuses on choral music.
Currently the school is growing year by year. We are a kindergarten through fourth-grade school that will eventually reach the eighth-grade. We have a very diverse population in our school.
My Project
Having a new rug in the classroom will be a great addition to our workshop model instruction. Each student will have their own special spot on the carpet during classroom instruction. It will provide for easier transitions and classroom management as well.
Printers without ink are not very useful in the classroom. We need ink for our printer so we can print out classroom activities, worksheets as well as student made projects.
This project is very important to me because the I want my classroom to be a safe and secure environment.
Having a special place in my classroom for each of my students is key. Also, printer ink is necessary to provide my students the access to making their projects come to life.
