Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We are teachers at a Title I school where 80% of our students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. Many of our students are English Language Learners whose parents do not speak English.
Our kiddos are a diverse group of excited, enthusiastic learners who come to school every day eager to learn and have their little minds filled with knowledge.
They are busy kiddos with lots of positive energy and wonderful personalities! They keep us on our toes and smiling all year long!!
My Project
Our students are some of the most creative writers we've ever taught and our classroom is in need of the basics. The materials we are requesting will be used daily by our wonderful, bright, energetic students! We need an HP laser printer to print out our students' fantastic writing and artwork, print out their beautiful art work and of course no classroom is complete without some ink for the printer!
Who wants to walk into a boring, dull, plain classroom when we can add some pop of color with our students' writing and colorful pictures?
A bright, colorful room full of students' stories and artwork would make any heart sing!
