My students will have an opportunity to explore and research the world of plants. Our school is located in the heart of the South Bronx and there are not a lot of trees. My students have never grown their own plants. I am hoping that they will learn about how plants grow and their benefits to the world.
The students will have a chance to work on more hands-on experiments with real plants.
My students are very curious, anxious and eager to learn more about the world around them. These lessons and the activities will enable my students to learn more about plants and have an appreciation for all the different things they provide for us.
We will need planting supplies for our garden. The students will be able to see their plants grow from the very beginning. We will plant seeds and watch them grow into beautiful plants. The students will grow their very own plant. The students will also conduct research on different types of plants.
This experience will be a fun and educational experience for my students.
Plant life is a very important topic in Science. The seeds, pots, and soil are the tools we need to make this project possible. There are many benefits that the students can gain from participating in this classroom experience. The students will work together, learn from each other and have a plant of their own.
