My Students

This year I am grateful to be teaching fifth grade science! The students in the area of the school are not fortunate to experience a variety of hands-on activities. However, they do not let this stop them from showing the community their amazing potentials.

With my passion for science, I wish to bring in real life connections and experiences for these students to grow their love and understanding for Science.

Every one of these students has a drive for learning, they just need the right teachers to help them achieve their goals and guide them to success.

My Project

Students today have a better connection with learning when they have hands-on materials to work with. With this, I feel that my students will benefit with having a snake class pet this year. I teach 5th grade Science and the students that I work with have never had the privilege to experience what it's like to have a reptile as a pet or to have even held one. I want to bring this creature into the classroom because I also want to teach the students about responsibility and care. I want them to have something to look forward too when coming into the classroom and to be excited about.
