Our school is made up of primarily Native American and Hispanic students. Our economic backgrounds support 93% free lunch and breakfast program with high needs.
We have a very large resource percentage within the school and a solid EL population.
We are just as diverse in our academics. We have an on site garden that the students maintain with the support of our bus driver Mr. D.
Recently I attended a STEAM Conference and have incorporated that learning into the classroom. We have started a Science Night at our school and the students are very excited! These kids are amazing and hungry to learn! I just need some tools in the classroom to support their diverse learning styles.
My Project
My classroom is growing and we are using Google Classroom as well as many digital programs for all subject areas. Next year I will have 11 more students who will need access to all of these amazing programs and our Google Classroom. I do not have enough materials to serve the needs of these additional students.
We use 1 to 1 computers, Kindles, and headphones in the classroom and at this time I can only serve 24 students.
I will have 31 students next year.
Please help me fill the needs for these students so they have full access to this digital academic classroom that has show growth in all academic areas having access to Google Classroom, iXL, Moby Max, Go Math, Studies Weekly, Scholastic, Khan Academy, and many more programs that are only accessible through technology.
