My Students
As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges, both in and out of the classroom. Many of them don't have the resources or support they need. The classroom is one of the places they desperately need that support.
Despite the many challenges they face, they continue to strive for excellence and to build better futures.
They understand that they need a solid foundation on which to begin. With your help, we can provide that support and those resources for them.
My Project
Our basketball teams are full of energy, charisma, and talent. Every week, our team looks forward to the ever-intense scrimmages, practices, and overall development. More importantly, our student-athletes become better students because of the commitment they have towards playing sports.
The donations that you will provide will help our student athletes participate on a competitive level.
Right now we are struggling to provide the necessary uniforms and equipment for our students to participate.
It is great to see the support and encouragement that each player demonstrates on a consistent basis.
As the year has progressed, the need for more equipment and practice gear is evident. We are in need of more basketballs, practice gear and game day water bottles. This will assist in helping our student athletes be better and more confident during the game.
