Our Backs Hurt! Help with Laptop Trays

Help me give my students a comfortable work space. My kiddies love to sit on the carpet when working on projects or collaborating. These trays will allow them to work comfortably while using their laptops.

My Project

The use of laptops is a daily activity in my classroom, especially when working on projects. During classwork, students come to the rug with laptops to sit next to their classmates and collaborate. The trays will allow the students to sit comfortably, as well as provide an easy place for them to comfortably do their work. What has been a problem is that the students get uncomfortable and want to lie across the carpet. This can be dangerous because it becomes a tripping hazard. By having these laptop trays, students will be able to avoid this problem and focus on increasing their learning! Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether their back hurts. Plus in this technology rich world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
