This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I am an educator teaching in a high need, low-income based inner-city school. We have amazing students that may have hardships based on learning disabilities, financial hardships, and many other unforeseen circumstances.

I have students of various abilities between 5th through 8th grade and new experiences will provide each of these students with so much.

My goal is to provide age-appropriate educational or sports-related materials to enhance the quality of their education. I would be very grateful for any donation, no matter how small.

My Project

I would love your help in providing reusable water bottles for our in-need basketball team. We have assembled a basketball team for our high-need school in New Haven. The boys and girls have pulled together a team but no one has water bottles or access to cold water during the game. I think a set of water bottles that the team can use during the game will be helpful and a way that the community can give back to low-income high-need athletes. Your donation will be an essential need for these athletes and a chance to teach them about donations and paying it forward. SPORTSMATTER
