We have a band program that is need of instrument repair and accessories. The students come everyday during their lunch period and 4 days afterschool. They are hard working, dedicated and disciplined. We need reeds for alto and tenor saxophone. We need bass clarinet and clarinet reeds. Our snare drums are worn out and our music stands have seen better days. Music itself is very expensive and buying it has become more and more difficult.
My Project
We will have all the supplies that are necessary for us to play and create a great sound. The students sometimes have to use slightly broken reeds. This does effect the overall sound. With your help, the students will play better, use their instrument better, create a great sound and work on the masterpieces. We are currently working on Nessun Dorma from Puccini and Vivaldi's quattro stagione. These pieces are diffcult enough and without the proper equipment just imagine.
