My Students

My students are aged 5-8 and have developmental delays that require OT intervention at school. My students are children with autism, downs syndrome and complex medical conditions. I would like to provide each student with an OT supply bin to allow success while maintaining CDC safety requirements. Thank you for considering my project.

My Project

I am an occupational therapist working with students in a k-2 building. The students have various developmental delays that require school-based occupational therapy. I am creating individual therapy bins that students can use at school. In addition, the bins can be taken home if we have to go to remote learning again. The new CDC guidelines require no sharing of supplies.

Students will require tools to assist with developing fine motor skills while maintaining CDC guidelines.

Bins will include fine motor manipulative tools, including scissors, puzzles, thera putty, and crayons.
