On that first day of Kindergarten can be very scary for these little ones. They are not sure of the their surroundings and what is to be expected of them. They have no idea how much they will grow and change from all of the things they will be learning over the next several months. As they are learning and growing, they don't always see it, but their family and teachers see their growth. This growth and change is truly amazing.
My students have grown into not only learners, but explorers, teachers, scientists, mathematicians, and experts.
We enjoy working together and teaching each other something new. In our room, we like to use a variety of different technology methods to explore in our learning. We use computers, iPads, a document camera and Promethean Planet. The students enjoy using technology to develop and enhance their learning.
My Project
The Osmo Genius Kit, Osmo Awbie Coding Game, and Creative Set will give my students the opportunity to practice reading, math, STEM, and creative skills independently as well as directed with the teacher. They will also give students a chance to work on their technology skills. Many of my students do not have access to computers or tablets at home. Osmo will demonstrate to them how exciting their learning can be!
Osmo will also give the students the ability to apply their learning to practice letters, sounds, numbers, coding and shapes in a fun and exciting out of the box kind of way!
