My Students

I am fortunate to be able to work in a school full of passionate educators and amazing students. My school is in the high desert mountains outside of Albuquerque. I work at a STEM school which focuses on Environmental Sciences. My students are passionate about STEM and being Makers.

I feel privileged to work in a beautiful wilderness area and to work with engaged and hard-working students.

My school is special because we all care about and look out for each other. It is truly a fabulous community.

My Project

At my school, teachers plan at least 6 hours of STEM Integration time within the school week. During that time a variety of activities, topics, and curriculum are discussed. Each teacher works to ensure this integration method allows students to improve their 21st Century skills along with other skills.

With Osmo Genius kits, our students would have the ability to increase their integration times by using technology in their classrooms to learn literacy, math, and spacial awareness skills.

This would greatly increase student engagement and collaboration in the classroom during learning times and would allow seamless use of technology for all ages.
