Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have 19 wonderful students, each with different skills and abilities that make them special. Seeing them arrive happy to the classroom and say good morning, Ms. Ortiz fills me with great happiness. Some dream of being firefighters, police, teachers, doctors, veterinarians, president of the country, and together helping the community. Being their teacher and helping them with the necessary tools so that they can fulfill their dreams is a great privilege for me.
Every day we write a different story full of anecdotes and learnings.
From crazy math to fun reading as they call it, they are always ready to learn. I encourage my students to work as a team and share their writing with their classmates and then they shake hands saying "thank you for sharing your writing". One of their favorite activities is when they present their projects, first they give a brief explanation of it and then his classmates ask questions. This activity helps them to have confidence in themselves and express their ideas. At the end of each participation, we applaud and say "great job".
I am very proud of my students, every day they do their best and they are always excited.
My Project
An essential tool for a well-managed classroom is making sure that each learning material has its own home and that students know where to find and put back materials that they use in the classroom. It is also important for these materials to be readily available close at hand students. The seat sack is essential supplies to organize books, school supplies and more. Also, is right and within reach… and keep children’s desks clutter-free.
These chair pockets will make my transitions from activity to activity a breeze!
