I am a Kindergarten teacher. I love working with this age group and watching them explore, learn and begin to love school. Our school is a Pre-kindergarten through 4th grade building. Over half of my kids qualify for free or reduced-price lunches this year. My students are very eager to learn and learn best with hands-on activities. I strive to provide great materials that will encourage my students to want to learn. My students develop ownership and respect for their classroom and the materials they use in the room.
Each year, I strive to build a strong connection with my students and their families.
I feel it is so important that my students and families feel that they belong and can come to me with anything. My students leave each year feeling that they were part of our "Kindergarten family."
Each project donated to our classroom will truly help the students' learning process and will provide new and exciting tools to keep them engaged in the learning process. Thank you so much for considering a donation to my students. We greatly appreciate you!
My students need cubbies that they can keep all their extra supplies and headphones in. Right now, the kids have all their extra supplies combined in a few baskets that are overflowing. Their headphones are all piled together, and they keep falling on the ground and getting broken.
Imagine each of my students getting their own basket to put their headphones, markers, extra crayons, pencils, and glue in.
It would make finding their supplies much easier than having to sort out each supply looking for their name. The students will be able to go straight to their basket with their name on it and pull out what they need. It would greatly help the students be more organized and will save time by not having to dig for their supplies.
