Organizing Social Science Classes

My students need folders in order to be successful in Psychology and Social Justice classes. Binders will be used to organize work from each class so that students can easily find materials they are missing.

My Students

My classes are comprised of an amazing and unique group of individuals. They are all high school students in Intro Psychology, AP Psychology, and Social Justice. The surrounding community is described as micro-urban, and we love our little city, but it isn't without it's problems. Currently, our school district is struggling more because of the Illinois budget impasse that has disallowed funding for many projects. About 75% of students qualify for free or reduced lunch, and teachers are used to spending their personal money to provide our students with snacks, school supplies, and other classroom materials.

My Project

Organization is key to success! These supplies will help my students find materials that they need throughout the year. I believe in providing my students with school supplies that will assist with their learning. Having a simple folder to keep assignments can be a huge asset for some of my kids.

I also like to keep all of my units, lessons, and handouts in binders that are accessible to students.

If they miss class or get behind, they are able to find what they need. Our old binders are looking ragged and the papers spill out! Help us with a fresh clean start this school year.
