Ms. Smith from Miami FL is requesting reading nooks, desks & storage through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need a cart and caddies to keep their classroom supplies organized.

My students are 4-5-years-old and they are from a variety of different economic backgrounds with 99% of students receiving free lunch. They come to school every day, enthusiastic, happy, and eager to learn. Our school's location is in downtown Miami.
In the neighborhood of downtown Miami, my students are not exposed to many resources that are geared towards a Pre-K/Kindergarten student.
Parents bring their children to school early so that they can take advantage of the free breakfast that is offered every day so it is inconceivable to ask them to donate school supplies when it is difficult for them to find food for their children. It is because of this reason that I am seeking the assistance of DonorsChoose and their sponsors to help me to help my students.
Do you waste time in your day due to disorganization? Perhaps you spend five minutes searching for a misplaced file, another five minutes looking for an email detailing an important meeting, and perhaps 10 minutes more finding your to-do list for today which may be lost in the piles of papers on your desk. Before you know it, you've spent an hour throughout the day looking for things you can't find. And that's just one day! Imagine how much time you're losing each week, each month, and each year!
Many people struggle with disorganization and I am doing the best that I can to teach my children that everything has a place and there is a place for everything.
So, while some think they can succeed amidst the chaos, disorganization can end up costing us all, a high price. Disorganization can hold us back from getting the promotion we've always wanted. It can block our creativity and add stress to our lives. It can also prevent us from being as productive and effective as we could be.
My students will use the cart to store their outdoor play items by keeping them together in one location. They will use the erasers during circle time to erase errors made while writing on their dry erase boards. The hopscotch carpet will help the children to count to ten and also how to play Hopscotch, and finally the classroom caddies will help them to organize their weekly book supplies.
