Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Throughout each week all of our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will enter our STEM Lab!
During our time together, students will investigate different Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics concepts through hands-on learning. These students enjoy working hard investigating new concepts and learning new things.
These students amaze me; they all come from such different backgrounds and converge in our Title One school. They have different experiences and challenges that when we all blend together to make our STEM Lab a welcoming environment.
My Project
The Teacher's Organizer and extra Lime Green bin will be used to help color code the students materials and workspace. Each week during labs the color coded Help Your Self Reading Bins will be used to hold each teams lab equipment.
The Organizer bins will color code with the supply caddies on each lab table.
Each grade level that comes in will have a set of organizer bins. These bins will hold the students lab folders for each access and storage.
With each lab table having a specific color the students will be able to quickly recognize their materials, and where to find any materials they need for their lab.
