This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Working at a Title One school has been the most rewarding thing I have done in my life. The students I see every day are so appreciative of even the smallest gesture of kindness. They are my why. They are the reason I continue to show up every day!

Helping these students have the means to organize their work means everything!

So many of my students can not afford basics like 3-ring binders and dividers. They are unaware of how to make this a tool that can help keep them organized and on track in all their classes. I teach six periods of 10th grade and have almost 30 kids each. If you feel led to, please consider helping me get each one of my students a 3-ring binder with dividers!
