Organizing and Storing Materials in the Art Classroom!
My students need storage because we lost our closet due to renovation! There is new furniture that will need some dry storage containers for paint, pens, etc.
In the art classroom organization and storage are huge parts to the whole. We really need to be able to use space effectively with storage cabinets and drawers. With a measly yearly budget these containers would never be affordable without your help!
Our students are extremely loyal and eager to learn and have new experiences in the art classroom.
We are a rural public school that has to fundraiser most of our supplies. Students in this classroom are from grades 7-12 and practice many different mediums.
We lost our big closet to renovation and these drawers and totes would really help! The storage cabinets we have need organization. With your help students will have ownership over the materials and mediums. They would see exactly which drawers and totes had their chosen materials and be able to return them to their proper place. The larger totes could hold items like unused paints and other materials that could be affected by heat or water like clay.
If the students see new storage donated by you, they will know that someone has invested in their future.
They may not realize how lucky they would be to receive the storage right away, but over time they will see the usefulness of cleanliness and organization in their art classroom.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
