My students are enthusiastic and motivated learners who come from a variety of ethnic, economic, and cultural backgrounds. Many of my students are learning English as their second, third, or sometimes fourth language! They enjoy science, reading, writing, and math. Their favorite part of the week is going to our STEM lab!
My students love being independent learners and going to their very own "office" to do their work.
My students do not have traditional desks with space to hold materials inside them. My students sit at round tables that encourage cooperative learning and partner work. The lack of storage within the desk requires the need for seat sacks to hold their materials.
My students need seat sacks to hold their journals, folders, book bags, earphones, and writing supplies. Seat sacks allow my students to be independent workers who can access their materials when needed and therefore become successful learners!
Seat sacks will help my students learn to organize their materials in a way that helps them access the journal or folder they need right away. In the past my students have spent many minutes looking for the correct journal and wasting precious learning time!
Seat sacks will help my students find what they are looking for easily so they can begin their work immediately after the lesson when the information and instructions have just been given and therefore fresh in their minds.
Students will no longer waste time looking for the materials they need. They will quickly find what they need and begin working right after the lesson has been given with more success and less wasted time.
