My Project
This project is geared to create a clutter free space for my intervention area so that students are able to focus on the task at hand rather than objects being in their way. The preliminary focus station we had this year was a huge success, and I would love for this to be a permanent area in our classroom next year.
With our shift to online assignments and testing, we have a large population of SpEd and RTI students in our GenEd classroom who receive accommodations and benefit from a calm space where they can actively work.
Usually when you have so much you can use to be successful, if it is not organized you tend to forget what you do have and never use it. Being organized while working will help them better focus on work completion and achievement. Document holders to hold supplemental aids will remind students to use those resources. A desk organizer and monitor stand will allow all necessary materials to be available to student while working. A cup stand will allow students to place their water bottles on the side to prevent damages to computers.
