My Students
Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow. - Anthony J. D’Angelo
I have the pleasure to live and teach in the same small community where I grew up!
Our classroom is truly a family! We attend each other’s sporting events and dance recitals and support each other through life. I have twenty-eight eager bodies ready to enter 3rd grade and take on the world. Over half of our population is provided free and/or reduced lunches but these students never let that hold them back.
My Project
"To learn to read is to light a fire; every syllable that is spelled out is a spark." — Victor Hugo
As an educator, one of the greatest gifts we can give our students is the love of reading.
Each year I have seen my students leave my classroom as eager readers. By having my classroom library organized by series and genres, students will be able to find the books they enjoy quickly!
These requested Neon Heavy-Duty book bins will allow students to find their favorite authors and series, such as What Was..., Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and I Survived easily. They will make our library more appealing to students, as well.
