Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are explorers, mathematicians, scientists, and authors! They love to learn and experience the world around them through hands-on activities.
My students are enthusiastic, fun-loving, and energetic learners!
They are learning to make smart choices and to solve their own problems. They love to teach each other and to work together to meet their learning goals.
Some of the students in my class and throughout our school site may be currently experiencing homelessness. They do not have access to many basic learning supplies away from the classroom.
My students are always active and engaged in learning. They learn best when they are actively participating in their own learning. This project will help our class do just that!
My Project
My students need a place to store their math and reading supplies within the classroom! We are a flexible seating classroom where students are given choice with where they sit. We have tables rather than desks so our students need a place to store their supplies within the classroom.
My students are learning how to become organized, responsible learners!
One way they are learning to become and stay organized is by taking responsibility of storing their math and reading supplies such as notebooks, headphones, folders, books and manipulatives. They will use the storage boxes and storage box frame to organize, store and sort their various learning supplies.
