I have the privilege of teaching some of the most amazing kids on the planet, in one of the very best schools on the planet.
We are striving every day to become better than we were yesterday.
They have a lot of challenges, but they continue to be hard-working, creative, and determined. Our school has a very high poverty rate, almost 80%, and a very high English Language learner population, almost 60%.
My Project
Fourth grade is the first year that students at my school change classes. Keeping their supplies organized through these rotations creates a BIG learning curve for our students.
These bags will help our students keep all of their supplies together and organized.
It will also help them to be able to carry all of their supplies from class to class without dropping or losing items along the way. Class time will be saved and more time will be spent on learning if students are organized and prepared with all of their supplies.
Such a small thing will make such a big difference in the day.
