My students need classroom library organization. Have you ever tried to do your job when organization was not optimal? Success is attainable when items are easy to find.
Have you ever had to work in a disorganized area? Organization is important for learning success! We have many books, but my students have a hard time finding their favorites and putting them back in an organized manner for other students to use, because of a lack of storage.
My students are first graders from a low income community.
About 90% of the families qualify for free/reduced lunch. Also, our school has a great number of English Language Learners. Many of them do not have books at home, but they love to read and be read to.
To help aid in organization, I am asking for a donation of organizational bins. Imagine students being able to walk over to their organized classroom library, choose the books they want to read, and place them back in the correct place, with no confusion! These bins will help aid in this organization and help them to become successful students.
Not only will this donation help to organize our classroom library, but it will aid in spending less time searching for books and more time working on the activities at hand.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
