My students need materials to keep them engaged and organized throughout the school day like books bins, center activities and books to enhance their learning and engagement.
I teach in an urban school and have twenty-five, wonderful students in my classroom. My kindergarten room is very different from the "typical" classroom. I teach in a classroom that is co-taught. There are two teachers in our classroom at all times. Some of our students have an area in which they need special accommodations. These children all have very different and very high needs in the classroom. It is my job to help fill those needs to the best of my ability.
My students love to move, sing, dance, play and learn.
My Project
Organizational and engaging materials are crucial to effective teaching and learning. Book bins and baskets will give my students the opportunity to practice responsibility and show respect for their belongings, as well as the belongings of others. Engaging center activities and books will keep them excited about learning and will make learning fun! My students will greatly benefit from these materials as they progress through the school year.
I want to ensure that my current students and future students have what they need to stay organized and engaged while at school.
Using these materials to teach them these skills will make a bigger impact.
