This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have 30 of the most amazing third graders in my classroom. They have a passion for learning new things. They are creative and bright. My students are very inquisitive about the world around them and motivated to learn. They always keep me on my toes!

One of the best things about my school is the cultural diversity.

We have several different cultures and languages represented. Many of my students speak another language and are still mastering the English language. Additionally, I have a wide range of abilities in my classroom. For instance, some need to be challenged, while others may need intervention. My school is also a Title I school, with more than half of students from low-income families.

By contributing to my classroom with new and exciting materials, you are helping me to provide an engaging classroom and memories that students are sure to remember. I am so thankful and blessed to have a new group of learners every year, that will benefit from your generous donations.

My Project

We are currently on a full distance learning model; however, plans are being discussed to bring students back in the next few months. As exciting as this is, things will look way different than before in the classroom.

I want to make this transition back into the classroom as easy as possible for my 3rd graders by using the Cricut heat press to label, customize and organize supplies for them.

They will no longer be allowed nor able to share classroom supplies. So everything will need to be labeled for each student. I want them to have canvas bags for supplies, and supply bags for smaller items. Truly, the possibilities of what I will be able to do with a classroom Cricut are endless. I look forward to making some creative, magical, and fun projects in my classroom!
