This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our class is in high need of new seat pockets for their chairs. We have used the dollar store chair pockets to keep our pencil pouches, independent work folders, and our headphones in all year. However, even our extra ones have all been used up. The dollar store ones have rips and tears and I can no longer replace them as they are not in stores anymore.

Help my class get new chair pockets to keep their daily use items handy and available without the worry of them easily ripping.

These chair pockets are more sturdy and will last us for the rest of the year and hopefully for next year as well. We don't have regular desks so each student has a chair pocket where they store the items they use constantly throughout the day. Having more sturdy ones will allow them not to worry about it ripping and be able to have a place to keep their desk items in.
