Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students at my school are joyful and eager to learn. With a good learning environment, the students will have many opportunities to grow.
Using the right tools to encourage and motivate the students is my number one priority.
I would like to start the new school year with motivational posters in my classroom, confidence building techniques, and organizational tools to create a warm, inviting place for learning. I know the potential for these students is great. What some students lack are confidence and modeling. I would like the tools to help me build their self-esteem and confidence.
My Project
The materials I have chosen are for displays of the student's hard work. Clips for the ceiling and adhesive for the walls will be great to hang the student's work once they have completed their assignments. I also put in an order for books so a group of students can work together on a project in which they write things about themselves and can share at the beginning of the year. It will give them time to work together on computers to create and publish their work. Having new materials for them to use will be Awesome!
