This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My eager little learners are energetic and inquisitive. They come to school full of curiosity and eagerness to learn. The last thing on their mind is keeping a clean and organized desk.

Not a day goes by that I do not hear, "Teacher, where is ...?" I hear this question from my students every day!

Even the most organized perfectionist has misplaced an item or two.

We all understand, however, the importance of being able to locate essential items for learning. I have found the perfect tool to keep us organized!

My Project

Organization is key in an efficient and effective classroom. My students have a small desk, and given the substantial amount of books and supplies they must have, they run out of room quickly. They often find themselves having to put their binder or books on the floor in order to fit all the materials they must have. We are an AVID school and promote skills essential to be successful in higher-level learning. Organization is one of these skills.

With these chair pouches, my students will be able to keep their school material organized and valuable learning time will no be wasted looking for lost items.
