Help me give my students a clutter-free creative space with easily accessible supplies. The shelving and brackets will keep supplies in order, but easy to find and store. This will help my students stay on task!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students live in the middle of the city. They are below poverty levels. They are a diverse group with ethnic backgrounds from all over the world. Some are from China, Myanmar, and Kenya, while others are Native American, Hispanic, Vietnamese, and African-American, and as a result, my students love to explore art from different cultures. They are tech-savvy but are content to sit and draw or paint. They enjoy sculpting and printmaking.
They are proud of their creations and ideas.
I'm proud of their determination and willingness to experiment with new techniques.
My Project
Being able to allow students to "self serve" themselves by getting and storing supplies has always been a goal for me as a teacher.
And, after being a traveling art teacher for seven years, I finally have one school and one classroom.
So this year, I will organize the shelving for my students' supplies!
The shelves, brackets, and anchors will ensure that my storage area for kids is strong, safe, and durable.
I will be able to encourage my students to explore the many mediums used in my class by making them easily accessible.
Responsibility for supplies is just as important as using the supplies.
