Ms. Elsener from Washington DC is requesting supplies through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need 2 clotheslines, 1 Turn-in-your-work organizer, and 1 teacher's organizer.

"Ms. E., where should I put this?" I hear this phrase every time we clean up. We do not have a space in our classroom designated for work turn-in or pick-up. Help us organize our thinking and display the great work we do everyday by helping us organize the paper flow of first grade!
My students are an energetic and enthusiastic bunch of first graders living in the inner city of Washington, DC.
We work really hard at school every day, but it's hard to do our very best work when we don't always have the supplies we need at our fingertips.
I am requesting 2 clotheslines, 1 turn-in-your-work organizer, and 1 teacher's organizer. We need these organizational materials to both collect and display our brilliant work. My students work hard every day at school, but transition times can be difficult for us because there's not a set place where we turn in work every day or display our work. If we could organize the space inside our classroom it would help us organize our thoughts and our learning more. We're requesting bins to turn in our work (and where it can be stored until it's ready to be returned!), and clotheslines to hand in and display our class work.
Organizing our classroom space will take our learning to the next level and help us get ready for second grade!
Being able to display our work will motivate my students to work even harder and organizing our transition time will allow us to be more productive each day.
