My Students

My classroom is made up of very diverse learners who work together well. Our school is in a small town that includes learners from smaller towns in the area. We are part of a wonderful community, a quality that I hope to instill in my students.

Diverse and differentiated teaching and learning is key to success in our room.

My students thrive on hands on activities that challenge them in different ways. The diversity of learners in our room makes working together so meaningful.

My Project

How books are displayed in the classroom is crucial to how the books get used. The spine of the book will not peak a students interest, seeing the colorful cover will. The spine of a book is not recognizable, but the cover is!

I have recently done several updates to my classroom library and now I need to display the new books in a way that will preserve the books and be easy to access.

I have selected book boxes for both picture books and chapter books. I will also utilize some book boxes that I have already invested my own money in.
