As a special education teacher, I get to work with a wide variety of individuals. My students come from all types of backgrounds and with many different exceptionalities, from autism, to learning disabilities, to brain disorders, and more. It is a dynamic group and each person in the classroom has something to offer every other person.
Teaching these students from 6th-8th grade allows me to watch them grow and gives me the great privilege of being a part of their development as learners and as citizens.
My school needs the organizing materials to help us organize our school store. Our students have the chance to earn House Points daily. Students then have the chance to use their House Points at the school store. For years our school store has been a mess, but we want to overhaul it!
We are asking for bins and a label maker so that we can organize the storage closet.
The bins will be used to place items in so that they can be organized for easy set up and tear down. The label maker will be used to label each bin to help as well.
With these items, students will be able to fully see everything that is in the school store. Students in the past have not enjoyed the school store because it was unorganized and did not have student centered items. These items will allow us to bring life back to our school store to better serve our students behavior initiative.
