This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
In my history class, we look to the past to understand who we are. We study both U.S. and world history, attempting to interpret the past through student-led research. Students discover history through a variety of rigorous activities and self paced online lessons. My middle school is a Title I school that mainly serves minority students. We have a wide range of learners, from the exceptional children to the academically gifted. Our school was built in the 1960's and has a long tradition of hard work and community.
My Project
My classroom is always a busy place. Between absent students, forgotten pencils, and dried up markers, it's hard to keep everyone on track, including me!
Organizational supplies and classroom materials will keep my class running smoothly.
Without these, instructional time is lost, students are frustrated, and grades fall.
Having a large organizer to keep track of assignments will help students find makeup work, and keep them on top of the material. File boxes will help me organize my unit materials and declutter my classroom. Markers and pencils will ensure that every student is prepared to learn. And labeling supplies will keep everything neatly arranged.
