This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love to explore on their own and in small groups. They love hands-on, active, engaging games and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to learn . They inspire me every day!

My students have a wide range of abilities.

Many of my students have trouble expressing themselves. Communication can be a real struggle for many of them. Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they communicate and flourish varies. Communication is a vital universal need and everyday my students are excited and ready to learn and communicate.

My Project

Organization is key to being able to focus on learning. Having everything together and in one place will help minimize my students anxiety, and help them learn and help to limit contact exposure. It will keep everyone safe and reduce the spread of germs.

The games and books I chose in this project will be a huge benefit to my students growth by making learning fun and engaging.

At times I see anxiety in my room and this limits learning. By donating to this project you will give my students the ability to feel safe and engage in learning by reduce some of the anxiety that is related to the pandemic.
