My students need a mobile student work organizer, presentation cart, a wireless printer, ink cartridges, and labels for our new printer.

"Organization is not an option, it is a fundamental survival skill and distinct competitive advantage." - Pam Woods
I am a language arts teacher who teaches 42 amazing third graders in a Title I school.
My students come to school with smiles on their faces and are eager to learn. Many of my students are at-risk and reading and performing below grade level. One thing all my students have in common is a need for organization. Organization and routines help my students to thrive. The way the classroom environment is arranged influences the learning of each individual student.
It is essential to teach our students the importance of keeping their environment clean and organized. When students know where things belong in their classrooms, they are able to reach a level of independence. An organized clean environment creates greater opportunities for student learning. The Mobile Student Work Organizer I have requested will allow my students to have a specific area where they may store and keep their materials clean and organized. The Technology Presentation Cart will allow me to model organizational skills by having a designated area for each piece of equipment. I will no longer have to use multiple surfaces to utilize all my equipment. The HP Photosmart 5510 Inkjet e-All-in-One Printer and supplies will give my students the opportunity to expand their imagination and creativity. They will now be able to print out their writing and share it with the class on our document camera.
These materials will give my students the tools they need to learn to be independent and organized in the classroom.
Independence is very important to learn at an early age. Organizational skills will help my class for the rest of their lives.
