Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My classroom consists of 18 very energetic and enthusiastic four and five year olds. For many of my Pre-K students, this is their first time away from home. We try to create a fun, loving and safe environment for these children grow and learn in.
Our school has a high population of English Language Learners and students who receive a variety of services.
Our students come from diverse backgrounds and countries making us a strong community school. All of the students in our school receive free breakfast and lunch and have difficult struggles in their daily lives. However, each child comes to school every day eager and excited to learn new things.
My Project
All of my students are eager to learn, and in Pre-K we learn through play. My students need these organizational materials to help our classroom run more smoothly. The cubby storage shelf will allow my students access to all the manipulatives that I have to offer in an organized way. The storage bins will also allow us to access classroom materials in a more organized and efficient way.
