I teach a lively group of twenty Learning Support students. My students struggle with reading, math, and written expression. They are from low income neighborhoods. They often have low self-esteem and don't see a future.
When I look at them, I see potential.
I see the light bulb go off as they are learning. I see a bright future ahead.
Most of the time, to qualify for a Learning Support classroom, these students have failed to succeed in their regular classroom. They are defeated, they don't think they can learn. It is a struggle every day to find the good, to point out the baby steps of learning, to rebuild that self-esteem.
My Project
Organization is key to productivity. There is a place for everything, and everything has it's place. How much productive time is lost looking for things? Every precious minute counts. Organization needs taught at a young age.
My students need your help to get and stay organized.
The organizer with removable trays are key to keeping work in progress together. The colorful book bins will help us keep our library neat and ready for reading. With our supplies organized and ready to go, our day will run that much more smoothly.
