My Students

So often we hear that today's students are unmotivated. My goal as a teacher is to create a learning environment that is not only motivating, but engaging, fun, and memorable. This year I am teaching Pre-K and it is more important than ever to establish this classroom culture.

As a Pre-K teacher, I want to create a classroom environment that instills a lifelong love of learning.

I have big plans for my wonderful students this year and plan on teaching them using new and exciting materials to do just that. The only thing that would make this year more perfect are a few more items for my classroom. With your help and generosity, we can create lifelong learners together.

My Project

A pre-kindergarten classroom is packed full of early development supplies, toys, math manipulatives, and literacy tools. Our classroom is no exception. We have so many learning instruments in our room that it is overwhelming.

My students and I need a dress-up unit, baskets, and plastic bins to declutter the classroom and increase organization.

The dress-up unit will tidy up the dramatic play center by giving us more floor space. It will also allow students to see every single dress-up item without having to dig through a box! The baskets and plastic bins will provide our classroom with the organization we are desperately in need of. These supplies will help me create a warmer and more orderly learning environment for my students.
