My students are energetic but truly understand class policy and the importance of learning. Once they walk into the classroom, they go to their seats quickly, immediately get the class-related materials such as pencils, composition books, and workbooks out from a designated area in the classroom. Few students will help me to pass out the textbooks and other lesson materials to the whole class; then, the majority of students will ask me the question, “What are we going to learn today?”
In this project, I would like to have a scanner, stapler, hole punch and disinfecting wipes.
A worksheet is one of the essential teaching materials and the items such as the scanner, stapler and hole punch can help me organize the worksheet.
Since I often write my worksheets, the scanner allows me to keep those worksheets as PDF files and also share with other teachers. I can use the stapler and hole punch to help me group and store them in binders.
On the other hand, students can learn how to maintain their worksheets. After they completed their worksheets, they can use the stapler to separate worksheets by subjects; then, make holes by using the hole punch and store them in their binders.
Moreover, the scanner can be used to scan students' artwork. Students often learn how to draw pictures during the art lesson and can put their final products on the scanner. Then, I can help to scan, save the file and send it to their parents through email.
Students will also learn how to use the disinfecting wipes to clean their tables. They eat breakfast in the classroom, play in the yard during recesses and then go back to the classroom. Therefore, I wish to teach them how to disinfect the classroom tables to decrease their chances of getting sick.
