Our school strives to make relationships with each individual student, I have 20 amazing kiddos in my room. About one-fourth of my kids are ESL learners. About half of my kiddos come from low-income families. I recently posted a DonorsChoose.org project for flexible seating that was successful. I was able to get many different seating options for my kiddos. I now need to be able to organize all their stuff as they will be able to move around the room freely.
My kiddos are very energetic and like to move, and I want to create a classroom where that is acceptable.
My Project
I recently submitted a project for flexible seating that was fully funded. I also wanted to get a special chair that would be my good behavior chair! I learned this year that kids loved sitting in the teacher chair, and it worked amazingly as an incentive for good behavior! As I started to set up my classroom, I realized that I needed a way to organize all my kiddos materials. I wanted to find a quick and efficient way to do this. The 9 cube organizers will be perfect for my kiddos. Each student will be able to have one cube to themselves where they can keep all their supplies. The ability to easily grab what supplies they need will save teaching time. These cubes will also be very helpful in saving space in the classroom, with the ability to have 9 kiddos sharing one unit.
