Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My amazing 4th-grade class is made up of of a diverse array of backgrounds which include English Language Learners, students with learning disabilities, Dyslexia, ADHD, BI, and autism, as well as students coming from single-parent homes or migrant children living with relatives other than their parents. Despite these challenges most of my students face, I am extremely proud of their efforts and eagerness to learn. In our classroom as well as our school, we strive to provide all students with a quality education in a nurturing environment that helps produce well-rounded individuals ready to contribute to society.
My students are creative, inquisitive and ready for new challenges.
They love to be involved in school projects and academic competitions to include Science Fair, Brainsville, UIL and Coding.
Our school is located less than mile away from the international border with Mexico which makes our student population very unique.
My Project
These storage organizers will keep my students organized. These over the chair pockets will hold their books and supplies so they can keep them at hand and help them waste less time looking for them.
A organized classroom is a stress free learning environment where a student can learn to their full potential.
Right now I have crates on the floor where the students store their books and items, but the crates get easily move and unorganized. With these storage bags the kids will have their own personal space and no worries!
