Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Can you imagine 38 kindergarten students in one room? It is a spectacular sight that is in need of a lot of organization.
My students are motivated young learners at a Title 1 school in South Florida where the population is very diverse.
Several students in my classroom are learning English as their second language. Even though many of my kindergarten students come from poverty, they strive to do their very best every day and I want nothing more than to give them every opportunity that they deserve.
My Project
The materials in this project will be used to help each student create their own organized space. Each student will have their very own book bin to store their leveled books, writing and reading folders and their personal tracking systems. Students will be able to store their works in progress as well as monitor their learning throughout the year.
These materials will benefit my students this year and for years to come.
Having an organized classroom will help all of my students to better track their learning gains throughout the year.
