My students need seat pockets to easily access daily materials. They also need the word work and sight word games, puzzles, and stem kits to be used during our centers block to support daily instruction.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are limitless creators of today. Do you remember what made your favorite class a lifetime memory? That is my goal for my first full year of teaching. I want my students to feel and see that they were able to create a fun learning environment though not only my actions but theirs. After reviewing snapshots and having prior family relationships with some of my students I know they will create excellence daily.
I know my students are on various levels and my goal is to make all of my students feel comfortable to move at their own pace with confidence.
We will explore social emotional skills, reading and writing, science, math, cultures and art. I envision my students interests being merge into our daily learning. I plan to work with my students to instill a mindset of inclusiveness. When my students enter the classroom on the first day I want them to get the feeling of being celebrated. Together we can reach goals that we set.
My Project
The seat pockets that I am requesting will help my students maximize their instructional time by having all their workbooks, writing utensils, and personal items right behind them! This will also save space and give students a sense of responsibility.
My students will be more engaged and less disruptive when given a wide variety of activities for our centers block.
My students look forward to centers and I want to have activities that will spark all of my students interests. They'll be able to explore STEM, sight words, art and puzzles while learning at their own pace and work well independently.
