This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach a wonderful group of sixth-grade students in a high needs school in the western part of North Carolina. One hundred percent of the students at my school receive free or reduced-price lunch.
My students come in eager to learn with the materials that we have for them.
The teachers at our school go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure every need of each child is met. Thank you in advance for helping our classroom.
My Project
My students will be grouped majority of the school year and to keep them organized I am requesting plastic storage on wheels. Having these carts filled with expo markers, white boards and pencils will help with the organization of the classroom. Students will be able to store their composition notebooks, pencils, scissors as well as glues sticks in the bins. The copy paper will be used to print off many of our activities that I have throughout the year. You can never go wrong with having Clorox wipes in the classroom for a daily cleanse.
