My kindergarten students come to school every day eager and ready to learn. The littlest thing taught to them makes them so happy and they love to share their ideas and creativity with me the minute they walk through the classroom doors.
My students benefit from learning through all types of teaching whether it be worksheets, hands on manipulatives, or projects, their little minds are always ready to explore and learn.
Whether it is learning about letters or number, animals or stories, my students enjoy it all. At home, these children don't get the experiences they get at school, so when they are allowed to explore and learn, they are very grateful and appreciative.
My Project
Organization, organization, organization! Kindergarten is full of hands on learning products. However, the more products we receive, the less space we have. I have been using old baskets from previous years to try to keep things organized, but 5 and 6 year olds are not the best at keeping all the little pieces together. Then they complain they are missing pieces and they can’t play with the games/toys. By using baskets and storage bins, it will be much easier to keep track of everything and much easier to stack and store in different areas of the classroom. Bins with lids would be essential!
