My fourth grade students are very bright children. They come to school everyday with a smile on their faces ready to learn. The majority of my students come from low-income households.
Due to our school being a Title 1 school, our resources and materials are scarce.
Our school doesn't have the luxury of buying items that are "wants" only "needs". Therefore, we have to be innovative at times with the items and space we have. We certainly appreciate every cent we receive.
My students have a great passion for learning. Along with that great passion they have a great amount of journals and materials that are in need of a storage home. Our desks are getting messy and we don't have much storage space. We have our writer's notebooks, our grammar notebooks, our reading journals, our reading books, and writing materials that need a place in which they can be stored nicely.
We use each of these materials everyday and they help us grow academically.
With these plastic carts, students will be able to learn the importance of organization and will be less likely to lose important items.
