My students need tools to keep them organized. A main part of middle school is to teach my students organizational skills. This organizer would help us do that!
I teach 6th grade students that are from a culturally and economically diverse community in a large urban city. My 6th graders are growing their minds and growing physically as well, and need a way to move and stretch throughout their day at school.
With over 65 students visiting my classroom daily, I want to provide them with a learning environment that fits their needs.
Our school is K-8 serving over 600 inquisitive minds. We are a magnet school that strives to meet the needs of all our learners and creates a safe and friendly learning environment!
My Project
In the middle grades at our school, students are expected to carry all their belongings with them to each class. I put a big emphasis on being organized as a key to be success. I want to provide my students the best learning environment as possible. To do this I need this literature organizer for their materials.
As a middle school teacher, my job is to prepare my students for their future educational endeavors.
Part of that is teaching the difficult skill of organization. Having this organizer would help store some of their materials so they wouldn't have to carry them. The organizer would lessen their chances of losing their materials.
